Design (5 points)
Describe how the design of your product contributes to reducing its impact on the environment (originality, quality product designed for a longer life span, packaging applications)
Reduction of materials used (5 points):
Explain if there is a reduction of raw materials or the use of new materials in the production process and how it contributes to a low environmental impact (reduction, recycling, use of mono, natural or biodegradable materials; low environmental impact: extraction, pollutants and transport). Please outline in comparison to previous versions or industry standards.
Process of production (5 points):
Describe how your production process contributes to a low environmental impact (reduction of resource consumption, use of renewable energies and clean technologies, optimization of production techniques to reduce pollution, reduction of waste production).
Supply chain and logistics (5 points):
Describe how you have optimized supply chain or logistics issues, including transportation of your product in order to reduce its environmental impact.
Market adaptability (5 points):
Describe the impact of the use of your product on the environment (availability of the product, product answers to a market demand, environmental impact due to product use, high development potential due to a good quality/cost/ environmental performance).
End of life (5 points):
Describe the end of life of your product, how you anticipated it from its conception and how it contributes to a lower environmental impact (optimization of the product life cycle and carbon footprint, recyclability; easy to assemble/disassemble, reusable, biodegradable, existing recycling channels…).
